One product, two readers

Shoppers see a product page. Agents read the data behind it.

A page can look complete to a person and still leave an agent guessing about shipping, returns or checkout. Here is one product from Northwind Supply, the demo store behind our sample report.

    We run 25 checks.

They cover access, discovery, product data, policies, the checkout path and page structure. Software measures 23 of them directly. An AI model judges the other 2, and it has to quote the exact text it relied on.

Frequently asked questions

Something else? Email hello@glassaisle.com.

Is this really AI?

Yes. Software crawls your store and runs 23 checks that are plain measurements, such as reading your robots.txt or comparing your structured data to the visible price. An AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) runs 2 checks that need reading comprehension, such as whether a shopper's question about returns can be answered from your pages. The model must quote the text behind every answer, and answers without a matching quote are dropped. Nobody hand-writes your report.

What do you crawl?

Up to 40 public URLs: your homepage, robots.txt, sitemap, up to 5 product pages, 2 collection pages, policy and contact pages, /llms.txt and /.well-known/ucp. We load up to 10 of them in a headless browser to take screenshots. We never log in, submit forms or place orders. Our crawler identifies itself as GlassAisleBot and follows your robots.txt.

Do you store my data?

We keep the pages we fetched, the screenshots and the findings so your report link works and every finding can be checked. Free reports are deleted after 90 days and paid reports after 24 months. We keep your email to send the report. We never sell data. To delete everything now, use the link in your report email or reply "delete".

Will the audit affect my store?

No. We make about 40 requests over a few minutes, no more than 2 at a time, with at least a second between them. That is lighter than one shopper browsing.

Does a higher score mean more sales?

Not necessarily, and we won't claim it does. The score measures whether agents can reach and understand your store. Whether an agent recommends you also depends on price, reviews and demand.

I got a report I didn't ask for. Why?

We audit e-commerce stores from the outside and email the results to a business contact we found through data providers. If you don't want emails from us, use the unsubscribe link or reply "unsubscribe", and we won't contact you again.

Who runs Glass Aisle?

Glass Aisle is a product of Horizon Digital Ventures, LLC, a Delaware company. Contact: hello@glassaisle.com.

Which platforms do you support?

The audit is tuned for Shopify. It runs on any store, but cart link and variant checks are Shopify-only, so other platforms get those checks marked "not applicable" instead of a fail.
